To meet stringent EPA MACT and Los Angeles Air Quality Management District (AQMD) requirements, an incrementally designed pollution control system has been designed and installed for a new, large California MDF mill recycling urban wood. A cyclone, wet electrostatic precipitator (WESP) and a thermal/catalytic regenerative oxidizer (TCO), handle large, small and submicron particles.
