Vanessa Wilson--Nova Chemicals new Advanced SCLAIRTECH process produces a wide variety of resins for flexible packaging applications. This presentation highlights several end-use performance advantages of these new resins in blown film packaging applications. The combination of an advanced Z/N catalyst with novel process technology has demonstrated enhanced capability to tailor polymer properties for customer needs. Significant improvements in the areas of processability, toughness and sealability are discussed.
