Pacific Section TAPPI’s winter meeting will highlight energy issues facing the pulp and paper industry. The meeting will feature a luncheon keynote address by Dan Burciaga, President of Thermochem Recovery International, a leading firm in the application of gasification technology to our industry’s energy challenges.
The all day session will also feature speakers from major industry equipment and service suppliers as well as mill personnel describing their approach to comprehensive energy management.
Representatives of the Industrial Efficiency Alliance will present a strategy to integrate lean manufacturing and continuous energy efficiency into an effective comprehensive energy management program.
Attendees will take away tactical approaches to reducing their energy cost that can be applied without significant capital spending.
