Runnability Fun Run
The Runnability run/walk is planned for each spring in conjunction with PaperCon. We choose a scenic venue close to the meeting hotel and head out for some early morning exercise and camaraderie. The event features a 5-kilometer competitive run and a 2-mile non-competitive walk. We brought the Runnability back to life in 2005 after a long absence. Each year, the planning committee designates one or more TAPPI division scholarship funds to be the beneficiary of the event.

Scholarship funds are raised primarily through corporate sponsorship and secondarily through individual registration fees and donations. We are extremely grateful to all of our sponsors and contributors. In our first six years, this event has raised over $46,000 to fund the education of future pulp and paper industry professionals. Please join us next May at PaperCon '11 in Covington, Kentucky to continue the tradition!
