Industry Overview
The demand for high performance corrugated boxes matching international standards has created the need for high quality kraft paper and modernizing of the manufacturing operations. The corrugated packaging industry in India has witnessed the setting up of an increasing number of automatic board making plants in the recent years. This signals the impending transformation of the industry and the future trends.
Compared to operations on semi automatic machines, manufacture of corrugated boards and boxes on automatic plants calls for a totally different understanding of the investment costs, raw material requirements, quality parameters as well manufacturing operations. Other aspects like costing, wastage etc.
also play an important role.

Course Perspective
The Certificate Course on Automatic Corrugated Plants & Converting aims to cover the entire gamut of these aspects, to enable the participants to understand and appreciate the factors involved in the efficient and profitable running of an automatic plant.
Faculty
During the 5 days, presentations will be made by renowned experts with experience in the field. Around 50% of the faculty will be overseas experts who are invited to share their knowledge with
participants.

The course will be conducted at the WICMA Auditorium – equipped with modern facilities.
