- Identify tools for effective waste reduction
- Simulate the presentation of technical and commercial contracts to printing plate and cutting die suppliers

Meet the Instructor
Industry veteran and founder of On Target Consultants, Dick Target has trained box plant crews in 31 countries, developed a printing technology still in use today and continues to assist companies meet manufacturing demands through lean manufacturing implementation, machine utilization, skill development and management training.
As an active member of TAPPI, Target has a strong relationship with the association and has presented a number of TAPPI courses. Dick earned a degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Philadelphia University and completed a tour with the Marine Corps before beginning his nearly 40 successful years with the paper industry.

If you find that you have to cancel, your full registration fee will be refunded if TAPPI’s Registration Department receives written notification (fax acceptable at +1.770.209.7206) by March 13, 2012. Please note: There will be a 50% refund for all written cancellations made after March 13, 2012 but no later than 5 business days prior to the start of the conference, April 3, 2012. Understandably, after April 2, 2012, no refunds can be issued. Substitutions, however, will be accepted any time without a penalty.
