ABPO – Associação Brasileira do Papelão Ondulado
Associação Brasileira Técnica de Celulose e Papel ABTCP - Associação Brasileira Técnica de Celulose e Papel, was created in 1967 to meet the demand for technology and growth of the pulp and paper industry in Brazil. The perspectives at time were optimistic, there fore some technicians created an institution capable of training the industry's human resources. Since that time, ABTCP has helped to transform the Brazilian pulp and paper industry in one of the most competitive in the world. ABTCP has opened new fronts for exchanging technology between domestic and foreign producers and associations through the development, improvement and disclosure of production technologies, research and information.
ACCCSA - Asociación de Corrugadores del Caribe, Centro y Sur America - mission is to contribute with the development and growth of the Latin American corrugated industry, by means of the qualification, education and update of the human resource in charge of the production, the quality and the maintenance of the corrugated plants of Latin America.
ACOTEPAC - Asociación Colombiana de Técnicos de la Industria de Pulpa, Papel y Cartón began on June 11, 1987 with the assistance of 93 technical personnel of the sector. ACOTEPAC is organized as an institution without spirit of profit submitted to the laws that exist in the Republic of Colombia, for this type of Association. ACOTEPAC unites technical personnel, engineers, managers of the producing industry, suppliers, supervisors, workmen of plant, universities and retired personnel. To support and increase the application of the science, the engineering and the technology in the Industry of the Pulp, Paper and Board, ACOTEPAC promotes its International Congress, ACOTEPAC Magazine and Technical courses.
AICC- Association of Independent Corrugated Converters represents a majority of the independent corrugated packaging manufacturers and their suppliers. We are dedicated to strengthening the independent's position in the marketplace through programs and publications that empower our members to compete successfully in a rapidly changing industry and an increasingly competitive and global business environment.
AF&PA - American Forest & Paper Association is a national trade association of the forest, pulp, paper, paperboard and wood products industry, representing member companies engaged in growing, harvesting and processing wood and wood fiber, manufacturing pulp, paper and paperboard products from both virgin and recycled fiber, and producing engineered and traditional wood products.
APPITA - Australian Pulp & Paper Industry Technical Association facilitates the pulp and paper industry technical network involving all stakeholders to advance the technical capability and expertise of the Australian and New Zealand pulp and paper industry.
ASPI—the Association of Suppliers to the Paper Industry—is a unique network of companies that supply products and or services to the pulp, paper and board industry. Membership is comprised primarily of CEOs, owners, and senior management executives from companies that supply systems, capital equipment, parts, components, consumables and professional services to the pulp, paper and panel board industry. ASPI’s unique value proposition is a combination of compelling program content and an influential business network.
ATCP - Asociación Técnica de La Celulosa y Papel participants consist of executives, professionals, technicians and suppliers of the industry. There are around 350 members who are divided into 5 general types of membership: assets, affiliated, adherents, collaborative and honorary. Membership status is acquired by signing the constitution of the corporation or by the acceptance by the board of directors of the application sponsored by a member, in which complete agreement with the aims of the institution is expressed and the applicant commits himself to faithfully accept and follow the statutes and regulations.

CTAPI - China Technical Association of Paper Industry Founded in June 1964, China Technical Association of Paper Industry (CTAPI) is China's largest state-owned agency servicing China's paper industry. CTAPI is directly under the supervision of China Association of Science and Technology and China National Light Industry Council. Historically, no one in China could take the place of CTAPI in serving China's paper industry so closely. Even today, CTAPI remains as a main body to promote technical exchanges for China's paper industry.
FEFCO - European Federation of Corrugated Board Manufacturers was established in 1952 and represents the interests of the European Corrugated Board Manufacturers. With headquarters in Brussels, the Federation is an International Association governed by Belgian Law.
INDA - Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry is a trade association representing the nonwoven fabrics industry since 1968. We are an organization committed to energetic action on behalf of the nonwovens industry. Throughout the year, our conferences and action-oriented committees bring industry professionals together to explore the most pressing trends and issues in the areas of government relations, technology, marketing and international commerce. INDA then marshals the resources of member companies to make a coordinated response that is prompt, cost-effective and industry-wide.
IPE - The Technical Association of the Spanish Paper Industry is a nationwide, non-profit-making, private Innovation and Technology aimed at increasing the technological and innovative capacity of companies and professionals from the Paper sector by providing them with consulting, training and information services. It comprises 49 manufacturers from the paper sector, as corporate members, as well as 60 companies related with the sector. Founded in 1963 as the Research Association of the Spanish Paper Industry, it has been highly active throughout its nearly 40-year-long history.
IPPTA - Indian Pulp and Paper Technical Association is an association of preofessionals engaged in pulp, paper, newsprint and allied industries in India.
Japan TAPPI - Japan Technical Association of the Pulp & Paper Industry is the organization composed of pulp and paper scientists, engineers, and managers in industries, governmental institutions and academia. JAPAN TAPPI was established for the purpose to contribute to the development of the paper industry in Japan and the world as well.
KTAPPI - Korea Technical Association of the Pulp & Paper Industry - is the independent, professionally organized technical association committed for the development of the Korea pulp, paper, and related industries. KTAPPI also serves as an international forum to share knowledge and promote research of educational and research institutions devoted for the technical developments of pulp, paper and related industries.
NCASI - National Council for Air & Steam Improvement Inc. is an independent, non-profit research institute that focuses on environmental topics of interest to the forest products industry. NCASI was established in 1943 by the pulp and paper industry to provide technical assistance for the industry's goal of lowering the ecological impact of its spent pulping liquors. In the years since, NCASI has developed technical expertise spanning the spectrum of environmental challenges facing the forest products industry, and is today recognized as the leading source of reliable data on environmental issues affecting this industry.
OZEPA - Austrian Association of Pulp & Paper Chemists and Technicians is a non profit organization for the advancement of science in pulp and paper technology. OEZEPA, seated in Vienna, responsible for the communication of scientific and technical affairs between its members as well as the co-operation with relevant foreign associations.
PAPTAC - The Pulp and Paper Technical Association of Canada (PAPTAC) is a Canadian-based non-profit organization, dedicated to improving the technical and professional capabilities of its members worldwide, and to the advancement of the pulp and paper industry.
PI - Finnish Paper Engineer's Association - The Finnish Paper Engineers Association was founded in 1914. PI is a joint forum for professionals working in the Finnish forest cluster. The Association promotes the industry as a profession and acts as a bond between those in the industry both nationally and internationally.
PIMA - Paper Industry Management Association is the premier association for management professionals in the paper and pulp industry. Its purpose is to contribute to the strength of the international pulp and paper community by providing the means for its members to address relevant industry issues and to develop their management and leadership skills.
PITA - The Paper Industry Technical Association PITA - Paper Industry Technical Association in the U.K. is an independent, professionally managed organisation which produces the journal Paper Technology. It provides a forum for the exchange of information and technology to the benefit of its members in the pulp, paper, converting and allied trades.
PTF - The Technical Association of the Norwegian Pulp and Paper Industry
The Pulp & Paper Safety Association is a non-profit, non-political, international organization, devoted to the continuous improvement of safety throughout all aspects of the paper industry.
SPCI - The Swedish Association of Pulp and Paper Engineers was founded in 1908 as an independent association for engineers in the forest industry. Today, the Association is a forum for professionals working in the Swedith forest cluster providing a platform for networking, education and industry issues, SPCI manages conferences, exhibitions and publishes Svensk Papperstidning and The Nordic Pulp and Paper Research Journal.
SPP - Association of the Polish Papermakers - is an organization of scientific, technical and managerial qualities with individual and corporate members whose activities are connected with the paper and paper converting industries.
TAPPIP - Technical Association of the Pulp & Paper Industry of the Philippines - The pulp and paper industry of the Philippines has been existing for 69 years with the Bais Paper Mill as the oldest paper company. However, even as the pulp and paper mills had grown in number, until 1990 these mills were individually coping with the daily technical problems in their operations. On July 31, 1992 TAPPI Philippines was officially organized.

www.tecnicelpa.com TECNICELPA - Portugal Technical Association of the Pulp & Paper Industry - Portuguese Association for the Technicians of Pulp and Paper Industries - a non-profitable professional association, was born under the sign of the old paper makers. It has adopted, as the symbol of its flag, the shield of the "Corporation of the Artists" from the old Holland, as well as the old water mark with the ox head, common in this specific art of the papermakers, symbolizing the strength of word and the creative art on a blue background which represents the non-dispensable water for the manufacture of pulp and paper.This association was formed in 1980 and has presently approximately 400 individual members (technicians) and 100 collective members (companies).

Zellcheming - German Pulp and Paper Chemists & Engineers Association - The Verein der Zellstoff- und Papier-Chemiker und -Ingenieure (ZELLCHEMING) was founded in 1905 and is thus the oldest technical/scientific association of its industry worldwide.
