Lake States TAPPI co-hosts Biofuels Conference Date: April 16-17, 2008 Venue: Dreyfus University Center, University of Wisconsin Location: Stevens Point, WI Wisconsin's fast-emerging potential as a center for the production of biofuels and other products from cellulose will be the topic of a conference to be held next month at UW-Stevens Point. "Wisconsin's Biofuels Destiny: Food, fiber and forest products for the 21st century" will be produced by the Wisconsin Technology Council, NorthStar Economics, Rusk Prairie Consulting Group and TAPPI's Lake States Local Section. TAPPI BIM Committee plans Spring Meeting Date: May 14 - 16, 2008 Location: Marco Island, Florida TAPPI's Building & Industrial Material Committee will be returning by popular demand to Marco Island for its 2008 Spring Meeting.
