Provides lecturers, tours and guides, videos, and slides. Tours are for ages 12 and up. Offers guided tours of timberlands and tree farms. Participates in community outreach activities, such as scouts, career days, Arbor Day, Keep America Beautiful. Makes presentations on papermaking, recycling and/or forestry to schools and community groups. Company also provides tuition for local school teachers to attend Auburn University's summer forestry orientation program.

The Alabama Forestry Commission does not offer tours as such, but county foresters and rangers do make presentations to school-aged children, community groups and the general public. Presentations on forestry are scheduled by calling the county offices directly. Provides tours of pulp and paper and wood products facilities for ages 12 and older. Safety equipment required. Clothing restrictions include no shorts, no shirttails, no sandals. Prefer smaller groups (5-10 people maximum per guide). Woodlands tours of nursery and seed orchard offered for all ages. Tours must be scheduled well in advance. Tour guides are usually engineers or quality control personnel. Foresters conduct woodlands tours. Company makes presentations on papermaking, recycling and/or forestry to schools and community groups. Woodlands personnel also participate in career day, Arbor Day/Earth Day, and papermaking demonstrations.
