Comments:
Guided hikes and a wide variety of programs are available
about trees, forestry, and ecosystems. For more information
on these and other state parks in Illinois, please visit
the web-site of the Illinois Department of Natural Resources
at http://dnr.state.il.us.
You may also call the sites directly or call the Interpretive
Program Manager at 217-524-9505. Interpretive programs are
offered at twenty-one sites throughout the state. The programs
provide visitors, school children, and the general public
with a better understanding of the environment through interpretation
of our natural, historical, and cultural resources. Teacher
training workshops are also available.
