The Forest Resource Education Center offers 2-hour tours
of a facility that includes a working tree farm, the State
Tree Nursery, ABC Arboretum, and trails for any age level
or group. Tours must be pre-scheduled. Also assists scouts
in meeting merit badge requirements, and offers tree seedling
sale program for groups and landowners for Arbor Day. The
center offers hands-on, interdisciplinary activities for
classes and groups. Program focuses on trees, forests, ecosystems,
and forest products, enabling visitors to connect to the
world around them.
