Comments:
Offers mill tours to school-aged children and the general
public. Must be over 14 years of age. Length of tours varies
depending on the group. Must be scheduled at least 30 days
in advance. Also makes papermaking presentations to schools
(all grades) and community groups. Participates in community
outreach activities, such as scouts, career days, town fairs,
Arbor Day, Keep America Beautiful, etc. Woodlands outings,
tours of sanctuaries, etc. are scheduled through Woodlands
Department (see above). Offers woodlands programs for schools
and landowner groups. Field trips available for all ages
with proper adult supervision. Also offers experimental
forest and tree farm tours as requested.
