Comments:
The Museum of Printing History is dedicated to preserving
the history of print. Tours are recommended for children
eight years and up, and usually last 2-21/2 hours. The museum
is open Tuesday-Sunday from 10:00am to 5:00pm. Admission
is $2 for adults, $1 for students and seniors. All visitors
are able to make a souvenir print on one of the museum's
presses. The museum also offers a printing badge program
for cub scouts and girl scouts.

Comments:
Located in the heart of the East Texas Piney Woods, this
forestry museum offers a historic look at early logging,
lumberjacks, sawmill towns, and the wood products industry
in Texas. Features a full-sized locomotive, loader and caboose;
a forest fire lookout tower; early equipment used to haul
logs and make lumber; and other relics from the early years
of logging. Hours are 10:00am to 5:00pm Monday - Saturday,
1:00-5:00pm Sunday, except major holidays. Special tours
by appointment. No charge, but donations appreciated. Guided
tours for groups of 10 or more with advance request. Tours
last approximately one hour. Nature trail. Also participates
in EEK! Environmental Education Kamp; Reading Railroad;
Fall Forest Follies; Forest Festival; and other environmental
workshops.
