Comments:
Operates a visitor center which is free to the public from
May - October. Exhibits deal with forestry in the Mount
St. Helens area. In addition, provides school and community
outreach programs on the Mount St. Helens salvage and recovery.
Makes presentations on forestry to schools and community
groups. Offers tree farm tours to community leaders by invitation,
but tree farm tours are not open to the general public.
Participates in career days, annual 5th grade tree planting
project, and numerous sponsorships.

Comments:
Tours are available for ages 10 and up. Must be arranged
at least two weeks in advance. Fall and spring are best
touring seasons. Tours are two hours long and are offered
at 9:00-11:00am or 1:00-3:00pm. Must wear closed-toe shoes
and long pants. Also makes presentations on papermaking,
recycling and/or forestry to schools and community groups.
Participates in Benton Franklin county fair, Walla Walla
Frontier Days, CBC Career Fair, college rodeo classic, Expanding
Your Horizons, and Christmas tree recycling.
