| Trees are planted
and grown specifically to make paper. Trees that are
cut down for paper production do not come from
our favorite park or wilderness area.
When some people hear about trees being
cut for paper, they might think of their favorite
oak in the backyard, neighborhood park or wilderness
area being cut to pieces. They might think of birds,
squirrels and other creatures being robbed of their
homes.
The good news is that the
production and use of paper are not causing forests
to disappear.
