Fibenol (FIB) is producing innovative bio-based materials – lignin, wood sugars and specialty cellulose (MCC) with resource-efficient processes and ensuring the quality of sustainable bio-based feedstock. We are dedicated to redefining the forest industry and creating novel value chains through sustainable production, new-age technology and expertise. Depending on end-user requirements the purifying and refining procedures can be applied to make our raw materials more suitable for down-stream processing.

Gert Preegel

Dr. Gert Preegel completed his doctoral studies in 2016. In 2017,gert_ametlik.jpg he started his first post docturate on the topic of Oil Shale Selective Oxidation as the Head of Industrial Chemistry laboratory in Taltech. In 2019, he chaged his focus from fossils to biomass and continued his studies in KU Leuven. In 2021, he joined Fibenol’s Research and Development team where he focuses on the research and development of microcrystalline cellulose and customer acquisition.
