Vice President at Miron Construction Named Recipient of TAPPI Paul W. Magnabosco Outstanding Local Section Award
TAPPI is pleased to announce that Chris Wolslegel has been named winner of the distinguished Paul W. Magnabosco Outstanding Local Section Award. He is Vice President of Industrial Business Development for Miron Construction Co., Inc. in Neenah, Wisconsin.
Wolslegel has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin Platteville and a Masters – Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.
He has been involved in the pulp/paper and power industry since starting as a co-op student at James River Paper in 1990. Since that time he has been in plant engineering, operations and maintenance management, account management for a pulp/paper specialty chemical supplier, and most recently as a construction contractor project executive.
Since 2008, Wolslegel has served on the Lake States TAPPI Board of Directors. He has chaired the Lake States annual energy meeting, golf outing, and Spring and Fall sporting clay shoots. All four meetings are fundraisers for the Lake States chapter.
The award will officially be presented April 16 at TAPPI’s annual PaperCon conference in Charlotte, NC, USA.
