Critical Issues Addressed at PaperCon 2020
The paper and packaging industries are constantly faced with pressure to adapt to the ever-changing global market. Growing focus on sustainability and shrinking resources is forcing mills and other companies to look toward new technologies and process advancements to stay competitive. Key issues such as managing big data, water scarcity and an aging workforce are taking center stage during many strategic discussions.
Hear the latest on these and other major technical topics at PaperCon, April 26-29, 2020 at the Cobb Galleria Centre in the suburbs of Atlanta, GA. PaperCon is considered the world’s largest technical conference for the paper and packaging industry. Developed by volunteer leaders working in the industry, the comprehensive program offers learning opportunities on cutting-edge technologies, best practices and key issues and trends. Mill and other paper and packaging professionals have the ability to customize their conference experience by attending only those sessions that best fit their needs in any of the topic-specific program tracks: Papermaking Additives, Papermaking, Papermaking Fundamentals, Coating & Graphic Arts, PIMA Management, Process Control, and Recycled Paperboard. The Conference theme is PaperCon 2020: Vision … into the Future.
PaperCon 2020 is co-located with the Recycled Paperboard Technical Association’s (RPTA) Production-Technical Seminar and attendees can attend both events for only one registration fee. Attendees should plan on coming to Atlanta early for the Introduction to Printing course which will be held Saturday and Sunday, April 25-26.
