Networking is Front and Center at TAPPI Nano 2020
Attendees at TAPPI’s International Conference on Nanotechnology for Renewable Materials (TAPPI Nano) will find networking opportunities around every corner at the Scandic Marina Conference Center, including the student poster session and competition held during receptions on Monday and Tuesday evening. In addition, conference organizers have included some exciting off-site events to take in the sights and sounds of Helsinki, the Land of the Midnight Sun.
Young Professionals (YP), ages 35 and under, are invited to attend the YP Mixer, Tuesday, 9 June, 19:30-20:30, at City Hall. Not your typical municipal venue, City Hall is in the former Seurahuone Hotel which operated from 1833-1913. The façade, the entrance colonnade, and the Banquet Hall remain much as they were during the hotel’s active operations.
All conference attendees are invited to set sail to the south harbor of Klippan Island on Wednesday, 10 June, for the conference dinner and awards ceremony at the Restaurant Saaristo. Built in 1899, the restaurant offers views of the Empire-Helsinki skyline to the north and the bastions of the Suomenlinna fortress to the south. Registration is required for the event and additional fees apply.
Registration will be opening soon. Learn more about the conference.
