The course format features presentations each morning and hands-on laboratory and pilot-plant exercises every afternoon. You'll learn the structure and chemistry of wood, chemical and mechanical pulping operation and processes; the importance of chemical recovery in a pulp mill as well as waste treatment and environmental regulation.
