Chicago TAPPI to Host “What’s New in Corrugated and Trade Fair” Event

The Chicago TAPPI Local Section is hosting its 2025 What’s New Program and Trade Fair Event, 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. on May 13, 2024 at the Oak Brook Marriott in Oak Brook, IL.

What’s New offers participants an exclusive venue to learn about new technologies, products, and services in a relaxed environment. The informative event is open to all converters and suppliers.  Topics focus on emerging operational offerings in the corrugated industry in North America, as well as around the world.

Additionally, What’s New offers suppliers a unique way to share their ongoing appreciation for customer loyalty. Any supplier that purchases a ticket to attend the evening’s presentation (@$125 per ticket) is eligible to purchase a discounted 4-ticket VIP Converter bundle ($200 for each bundle).

The evening program begins with a social hour featuring an open bar and hors d’oeuvres, followed by dinner and a series of eight-minute knowledge-packed presentations.

Attendees will hear the latest on:

  • ARISTO Carton Folder-Gluer – Provides converters with the option of cold or hot adhesive bonding of packages up to 6 points, with minimal amounts of waste. Presenter: Justin Delcher, SUN Automation

  • iBox-Build – A digital twin platform for procedures that records and recalls all your how-to videos to help onboard new employees and retain organizational knowledge. Presenter: Chris Harris, WPR Services
  • Coragum Xcell – The first ready-to-use performance additive product line that reduces adhesive application, improves bonding, and maximizes corrugator speeds. Presenter: Roman Skuratowicz, Ingredion Incorp
  • The Raven – A compact robotic palletizer with a dedicated squaring section for stacking, designed around the productivity capabilities of the typical 50” FFG.  Presenter: Drew Kaser, Alliance Machine Systems
