2026 Yankee Dryer Safety and Reliability

Virtual
Thursday, November 05, 2026 to Thursday, November 05, 2026

Time: 9:30am - 12:30pm Virtual EST

Yankee dryers are one of the most dangerous and costly areas of a tissue mill. As part of TAPPI’s Tissue Division, the Yankee Dryer Safety and Reliability Committee (YDSRC) is an active group of Yankee dryer owner/users and service providers who work to expand knowledge of safe operating and maintenance practices. The committee meets twice annually in the spring and fall with the intent of developing best practices and standards for problems that cause drying system delays and compromise safety across the tissue industry.
