Join a SSIG - Participate in Voting and Commenting on Standards That Are Up for Review

All Standards go through a peer-reviewed voting process prior to their approval. You can participate by joining the Standard-Specific Interest Group (SSIG) for the Standard you wish to vote on. Select the subject category to get all the necessary forms. After our TAPPI Standards Department reviews the form submitted, you will be added to the SSIG(s) that you chose to join.

Standards Advisory Review Group

The Standards Advisory Review Group (SARG) meets twice a year to act on Standards in the final stage of review. The agenda is posted 50 days in advance on our website. Any person who wants to participate may attend in person or by phone. We especially encourage any interested stakeholders* to get involved if they have particular concerns or issues regarding the methods being reviewed.
