“I would have to say that one of the industry’s most significant contributions has been sustainability. Through aggressive tree planting programs, recovery boilers, biomass boilers, cogeneration, recycled fiber, shoe press technology, etc., we as an industry have been focused on energy efficiency, reuse, and sustainability long before they were buzzwords. We are just now getting good at sharing that message and still have opportunities. As to my favorite paper product that is a challenge. I love reading anything on paper whether it is a book, magazine, even a report on copy paper.  However, I would probably have to go with the Sunday paper, with a hot cup of coffee!”
