TAPPI seeks experienced industry professionals to chair and join Working Groups for critical Useful Methods (UMs) spanning fiber analysis, pulp processing, and packaging materials testing. These volunteer leadership roles offer senior executives and retirees meaningful opportunities to shape industry standards, mentor emerging professionals, and maintain their technical influence across diverse sectors including bagasse fiber determination, wood chip density analysis, mechanical pulp processing, and corrugated container adhesive testing. With positions available across 15 specialized UMs, volunteers can leverage decades of expertise while contributing to the advancement of pulp, paper, and packaging industry standards that impact global manufacturing practices.
