Sweden's Roundwood Prices for Sawlogs and Pulpwood Decreased in 1Q 2026
The Swedish Forest Agency reported that during the first quarter of 2026, prices on roundwood for harvesting assignments for sawlogs of Scots pine decreased by 4 percent and by 6 percent for sawlogs of Norway spruce. Prices on pulpwood of conifers and broadleaved trees decreased by 8 percent in comparison to the fourth quarter of 2025. The roundwood prices refer to calculated prices and therefore does not reflect the prevailing market price during the quarter.
