Industry Professionals Gather at TAPPICon for QCS Volume 2 Book Signing

TAPPICon attendees had the opportunity to connect with contributors behind Paper Machine Quality Control Systems (QCS) Volume 2: Control Systems and Applications during a special book signing event held on April 27.

The event brought together industry professionals, readers, and QCS experts to celebrate the release of the new publication and discuss the evolving technologies shaping paper machine performance and quality control. Attendees were able to have copies signed, meet several of the book’s contributors, and engage in conversations about the real-world applications covered throughout the text.

QCS Volume 2 explores critical topics in paper machine control systems, including machine direction (MD) and cross direction (CD) controls, regulatory controls, mapping, transition strategies, color control, and actuator technologies. The book serves as a practical resource for professionals looking to deepen their understanding of modern QCS operations and applications.

The book signing followed the recent QCS Volume 2 webinar and continued the excitement surrounding the publication’s release. Throughout the event, attendees expressed enthusiasm for the opportunity to learn directly from industry experts and connect with others passionate about advancing operational excellence in the paper industry.
