STAR - July 2025 - Did You Know
Mid-career professionals seeking leadership development and technical advancement can actively shape industry standards through TAPPI's Standard-Specific Interest Groups (SSIGs). To participate in the balloting process for TAPPI Standards, you must join the relevant SSIGs, as each standard maintains its own dedicated group. While draft standards are publicly available for review, voting privileges require SSIG membership. This participation opportunity allows operations managers, R&D leads, and sales engineers to demonstrate technical leadership, benchmark industry practices, and build professional credibility while contributing to standards that directly impact their daily operations and career advancement.
