The TAPPI Women In Industry (WIN) Division and Pulp and Paper Safety Association (PPSA), invite you to join us for our 2025 International Women’s Day Panel on March 7 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. EST. This year’s theme of “Accelerating Action” has empowered us to set up a panel discussion to continue the conversation. The panel will share real examples on how to implement successful inclusion strategies in your everyday life.

Deanna Duram
Deanna L. Duram, PE (she/her) is a Principal Consultant and the Director of the Women in Leadership Initiative for Trinity Consultants, a global environmental consulting firm. Deanna is committed to providing high-quality, high-integrity support to clients and individuals she engages with, focusing on being a passionate advocate to facilitate positive and transformative dialogues and outcomes. With over 27 years of experience, she is a recognized Subject Matter Expert for the pulp, paper, and tissue industries, specializing in air quality, permitting and compliance management. Deanna is a passionate advocate for women in engineering and leadership roles. As the Director of Trinity’s Women in Leadership Initiative, she has been instrumental in promoting gender diversity and empowering women within the organization and the broader engineering community. Her efforts have included mentoring, organizing professional development programs, and leading initiatives that support women's career advancement. Deanna also serves on Trinity’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) committee. In recognition of her advocacy, Deanna was honored as the Woman of the Year by the Technical Association of the Pulp and Paper Industry’s (TAPPI) Women in Industry (WIN) Division in 2022. Deanna holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Michigan. Deanna is a registered Professional Engineer in Georgia and South Carolina. Outside of her professional work, Deanna enjoys family time with her spouse, daughter and pooches. She has a second-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and she enjoys baking, traveling, reading, and faith-based activities, including serving on international mission trips. Deanna tries to lead by example, encouraging others to “be the change they want to see”.

Kim Moore
Kim Moore is Senior Director of Global Health and Safety, Graphic Packaging International (GPI) and 2nd Vice Chair – Board of Directors, Pulp & Paper Safety Association (PPSA. )Kim has worked to keep workers safe in manufacturing operations for over 22 years.  She has worked for multiple Fortune 500 companies in Environmental Health and Safety such as: General Electric (GE), Cardinal Health, Pratt and Whitney, and for the past 3 years, at Graphic Packaging International.  She has covered both individual operations as well as regions all over the world including the Middle east, Europe, Singapore, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil.  Her overall passion is worker safety, but she has a particular passion for women’s safety.  She was certified as a women’s self-defense instructor in 2001, and since that time has taught over 2000 women how to defend themselves in workshops at women’s shelters, health centers and workplaces. When she isn’t teaching or working, she is hanging out at home with her husband, their 75 lb lapdog, and a good book.

Moderator: Sarah Loner
Sarah Loner (Muzzy) is Senior Key Account Manager, Solenis, and Chair for TAPPI’s Women in Industry (WIN) Division. Sarah graduated from the University of Maine in May 2011 with a degree in Chemical Engineering. While at the University of Maine, she was very involved with the Pulp and Paper Foundation, serving as the Executive Board Senior Vice President for two years as well as the President of the Student Chapter of TAPPI/PIMA for two years. She was awarded the PIMA National Student of the Year award in 2010 at PaperCon and attended the TAPPI/PIMA Student Summit all four years from 2008-2011. While completing her degree, Sarah worked as part of the Co-op Program at Sappi Fine Paper in Westbrook, Maine as a Process Engineer. After graduating in May 2011, Sarah went to work for Nalco Company as part of their inaugural class of Accelerated Sales Engineers. Upon completing the Accelerated Sales Engineering Program, she was moved to Anderson, SC for a District Sales Representative position. Sarah spent a year in the field as a District Sales Representative for Nalco before joining O’Neal Inc. as a Process Design Engineer focusing on Pulp and Paper Projects.  Sarah won the TAPPI Young Professionals Top 20 under 30 award in 2015.  After three and a half years in design with O'Neal, she returned to sales with Solenis in 2016 in Anderson, SC as a Key Account Manager.  Sarah is now a Senior Key Account Manager with Solenis.  She won Eagle Sales awards for Solenis in 2022 and 2024.
