Keynote Speaker Announced for TAPPI's 2024 Women's Summit
TAPPI’s Women in Industry (WIN) Division has announced that Cyd Rechtin, founder and CEO of The Creator’s Attaché (TCA), will be keynote speaker for its 2024 Women's Summit. The Summit, Saturday, April 27 in Cleveland, OH, focuses on empowering women's leadership and promoting equity in the industry.
Cyd Rechtin brings a wealth of expertise in process optimization, project management, leadership development, operations strategy, and marketing strategy. With a background in Chemical Engineering and Advanced Analytics, she has successfully navigated the corporate world while staying true to her passion for innovation and creativity. Her journey led her to establish TCA, a platform that allows her to leverage her skills to drive impactful change and serve the community.
The theme of this year's Summit, "Inspiring Inclusion: Empowering Women's Leadership and Equity in Industry," reflects TAPPI's commitment to fostering inclusive, equitable, and diverse workplaces. The event presents a unique opportunity for men and women to engage with thought leaders, industry professionals, and like-minded individuals dedicated to advancing workplace inclusivity.

The Summit program, held from 1 pm – 6 pm ET, includes in-depth discussions and interactive breakout sessions focusing on critical aspects of fostering inclusivity in the workplace. Sessions include:
- Balancing the Scales: Navigating Gender Equity in Industry: Candid discussions exploring the challenges and strategies for achieving gender equity across various sectors.
- Redefining Leadership Through a Gender Lens: A thought-provoking session inviting participants to reconsider leadership paradigms through women's distinctive experiences and viewpoints.
- Inclusion in Action: Learning from Industry Leaders: Firsthand insights from successful leaders who have championed inclusivity in their respective fields.
Following the program, attendees can unwind and network at a reception from 6:00 – 7:00pm.
