The size compared to the capabilities is fascinating but did you know that all sorts of nanotechnology and materials are around you in your own home. This guide to nanotechnology used in the average home is eye opening. From the kitchen sink to the garage and everywhere in between nanotechnology has already found its way into all of our homes. Dating back hundreds of years ago to the stained glass windows in churches to scientists’ ability to now deliberately make materials at such a small scale to take advantage of their enhanced properties such as higher strength and lighter weight, nanotechnology is quickly transforming the way things work. It is hard for me to wrap my head around something this big but yet so small. But it’s here.
