Dust Mitigation Committee

Tissue Division Steering Committee – Oversees and guides the activities of the TAPPI Tissue Division 

Tissue Education Committee – Oversees and guides the content of TAPPI’s tissue courses and recommends new courses and curricula based on industry needs.   

Tissue360° Forum Program Committee - Tissue360° Forum Program Committee plans the technical program for the annual Tissue 2017 conference, bringing together mill leaders and solution providers to share practical technical advances and solutions for better tissue making and converting.

Yankee Dryer Safety and Reliability Committee - Yankee dryers are one of the most dangerous and costly areas of a tissue mill.  This active group of yankee dryer owner/users and service providers work to expand knowledge of safe operating and maintenance practices.   The committee's goal is to develop standard practices and standards for problems which cause drying system delay and compromise safety across the tissue industry.  They meet twice annually.

Yankee Bearing & Maintenance Reliability Subcommittee - The subcommittee develops understanding and best practices for maintenance of yankee bearings.

Yankee Hood and Process Air Systems Subcommittees - The subcommittee develops understanding and best practices for yankee hoods and process air systems.

Yankee Steam & Condensate Subcommittee - The subcommittee develops understanding and best practices for yankee steam and condensate systems.

Yankee Surface Reliability Subcommittee - The subcommittee develops understanding and best practices for yankee surfaces, including doctoring, creping, minimizing chatter and downtime for resurfacing.

Steel Yankee Subcommittee - Develop understanding and best practices for the operation of steel yankees.
