Innovation to Take Center Stage at Biennial European PLACE Conference

18th Biennial European PLACE Conference being held 10-12 October 2022 in Bratislava, Slovakia will bring together the European flexible packaging and converting industry to discuss the latest innovations and developments.

Early bird registration and discounted hotel rates are in effect through 10 September 2022.

This year’s conference program focuses on topics that matter to the flexible packaging and converting industry like recycling and sustainability; barriers; circulatory issues; extrusion coating; and paper and film-based solutions. Horst-Christian Langowski, Ph.D., Professor Emeritus, Technical University of Munich, is the event’s keynote speaker. Widely respected for his research and vast knowledge in the areas of food packaging and processing, Dr. Langowski will share his insight and experience about the future of both consumables and packaging in his presentation, “The Importance of Food-Grade Recyclates for the Circular Plastics Economy.”

 

The European PLACE Conference is the only event of its kind in Europe that focuses on Polymers, Laminations, Adhesives, Coatings and Extrusion (PLACE). Speakers include not only experts from the industry, but many top academicians from leading universities.
