Rachel Johnson
University of Washington

Rachel Johnson is a senior at University of Washington working towards a Bachelor’s of Science in bioresource science and engineering. While at UW, she has been a part of the Husky Marching Band and part of the university’s student TAPPI chapter for three years. Through TAPPI and the Washington Pulp and Paper Foundation, Johnson has gained access to interviews and internships. She has worked as a summer student in the NORPAC Lab, working on brightness meters and the pulp calibration machine. This summer, Johnson will work at International Paper, Federal Way, WA in their Innovation Lab. After graduation, she hopes to find a career in the paper industry.
