Jacob Levesque is a third-year chemical engineering student with a mathematics minor and a concentration in pulp & paper management at The University of Maine, Orono. His experience includes a summer internship at the Sappi Somerset Mill as a Pulp Lab Technician, where he developed technical and engineering skills. He is actively involved in the UMaine Pulp and Paper Foundation and serves as the Northeast TAPPI/PIMA Student Chapter President. Additionally, he contributes to the UMaine community as a student researcher and currently works as a process engineering co-op at Packaging Corporation of America in Filer City, MI.

Outside of his academic life, Jacob enjoys outdoor activities, inspired by his involvement in the Boy Scouts of America. He planned events, mentored new scouts, and completed over 150 hours of service, culminating in achieving the Eagle Scout rank in June 2021. His leadership and teamwork experiences from scouting continues to shape his decisions and fuel his desire to inspire others.
